Agroecology, green-building and renewable energy systems
Renewable Ecovillage Activities for Youth (REAY) is going to provide 4 volunteers an unforgettable experience of living and learning in an ecovillage for 6 months starting 1st May 2018.
Arterra Bizimodu aims to open the doors of their eco-community to the European youth to get motivated young people involved with the ecovillage movement through engaging them in a series of activities. The volunteers will get integrated through active collaboration in the shared tasks on a daily basis, plus they also get the chance to specialise in one of the activities.
Volunteers get to choose from two main activities:
- A) Agroecological Farming and
- B) Ecological Building and Renewable Energies.
With option A) you get to work at the community supported vegetable gardens following agroecological production methods.
With choosing option B) you will participate in the application of renewable energies such as solar and biomes and work along community members in the renovation of the main building following ecological principles.
This opportunity is open to Italian and UK nationals aged 18-30.
All accommodation, food, and travel expenses are covered.
You will start with Arterra on 1st May 2018 and will stay for 6 months.
