Volunteering in a Music & Arts Gathering in Spain

festival in Spain

We are looking for volunteers for the WIM!

WIM is an international meeting, we dont like to call it festival, where more than 250 musicians and artists create an artistic community during 10 days round spontaneous performances, workshops, jams, concerts and the productive exchange of ideas and projects among artist from all over the world. Is not a party-festival but a space to share ideas about music, explore the improvisation and art itself with other artists from all over the world. The place is an awesome medieval town with rivers, waterfalls and a medieval castle open air where the concerts take place.

Pre-scheduled activities are programmed of

  • Intensive courses (mornings),
  • workshops (afternoon),
  • concerts & jams every night.

This year will be our fifth edition and will take place from 20 till 29 of July in Frรญas, Burgos (North of Spain).

We were thinking about you to teach a 6 days Course, from monday 22 of July till saturday 28 July. We would like to count you in developing some of your knowledge about makam and modal improvisation.

To be volunteer you dont need to have any music or arts knowledge, we look people just to take care of the entrance, bracelets, work in the bar, cleaning etc…

We just need people who are going to be with us the whole 10 days! This point is really important.

The best way to take a look into the project is to see some videos of the last years!
