Urban WWOOF in social projects - November opportunities in Paris, France
Pack your skills and come to Paris from the 11th to the 25th of NovemberHey there,
A little more than a year and a half ago, Pack Your Skills' first travelers, Anna, Milica and Kay, arrived in Paris. They came from the Czech Republic of Serbia and Hawaii. Since then, three waves of travelers have brought about fifteen travelers from 11 different countries to make a mission in a Parisian project.
Since January, I paused the project to allow me to start my personal freelance activity and live from it.
In July I was feeling more confortable and I made the decision to relaunch it. Since, 6 people have joined the adventure: Aditi, Anne-Charlotte, Anne-Laure, Mathieu, Oriane & Stephane. We are all volunteers, motivated by the Pack Your Skills project and its mission and determined to develop the concept.
To re-start, we decided to reuse the good old recipes, by doing what we do well: a Parisian edition.
We hope that 2019 will be the year of the first edition outside France, but in the meantime we are waiting for you in Paris from 11 to 25 November.
So if you would like to discover the amazing city of Paris and get the chance to leave this unique experience before then end of the year ? Get ready!
Do not miss it, you will have no other chance in 2018... next round will be in 2019.
To go deeper, I would leave you with 2 testimonials I received from Packers (the name we give to travelers
Milica told me: “I can tell you that PYS really changed my mind in like 360 degrees. I was very "closed minded", thinking life is all about 9 to 5 job and a boring life. And then I met all of you - Anna, Isis, Kay... And I saw that there is an other way, free life working for yourself. You guys really inspired me to turn my brain on 😃. I will be thankful forever for that".
And Fernando: “So it 's a job, but doesn't feel like one, it feels more like I'm part of a project I want to be part of. And this gives me the change the grow in my carrer, working alongside with people that care deeply with this project. I tell you all this because Pack Your Skills is partially guilty for where I'm now in my life. Working in Spain in my field is really difficult. And all those months looking for a job were not fun. But the experience I lived in Paris reinforced my professional self-esteem to keep going. I knew I could do it, it was just a matter of time. Also, Having had the opportunity to see how things were in Monbanquet I realize not all jobs sucks and it really feels special to dedicate your life to something you really care. So, I owe a lot to Pack Your Skills and to you.”
Both of their testimonials make me feel very happy because it is very aligned with what we aim to create with Pack Your Skills.
So we see each other in Paris soon ?
Come on, beautiful opportunities are waiting for you here:
