What does an au pair in China do?

The EduCare program is focused around homestay tutoring. It is often compared to being an au pair, however there are some key differences. Unlike au pairs, homestay tutors are mostly focused on English tutoring and do very little housework. You will spend the majority of your time helping the child learn English, playing fun games with them and providing a more immersive English language environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be a role model and develop your intercultural communication skills, all while also enjoying free Chinese classes, trips, cultural activities and more! There are two program options – the short-term and long-term EduCare programs. While they have a lot of similarities, there are some slight differences in terms of the benefits and eligibility criteria.
