Are you a diver interested in Marine Conservation? Do you want to make a difference while diving in the incredible waters of Costa Rica? Innoceana is a nonprofit organization based in Spain that travels around the world using innovation in projects to help our threatened Oceans

Innoceana is happy to announce that we will be organizing another diving expedition in March 2020 in Costa Rica!

You are a diver interested in learning marine conservation, get certified, and help in our research projects? Join us for our 12 days expedition in March to learn about coral 3D models, invertebrate inventory, climate change monitoring, water quality studies, …!

In addition to yoga classes, you’ll dive in the beautiful waters of Costa Rica and its incredible biodiversity. By being part of our research team, you will learn all about our projects and be trained for marine conservation techniques!

Marine conservation diving expeditions next November 2019 in Tenerife! 🌊🐙

Are you a diver and want to learn how to apply biology and engineering in marine conservation while diving some of Europe’s most impressive places in the Canary Islands? 🌞

Join the Innoceana team and certificate at:

  •  3D modelling applied to marine ecosystems
  • Sampling and monitoring of fish, invertebrates, and substrate
  • Water quality monitoring and climate change
  • A sampling of micro-plastics (beach and seabed substrate)
  • Identification of threatened species and monitoring
  • Evaluation of the population of garden eels
  • Cleaning beaches and funds
All projects are supported by the Canarian government and the City Council of Guía de Isora.

Join the team next November in one of our expeditions:

  1.  Short expedition: November 15-18
  2. Long expedition: November 20-26

What we will do?

Get trained and certified as conservation diver while helping the organization Innoceana. Learn about

  • climate change
  • monitoring marine ecosystems
  • monitoring endangered species ID,
  • plastic monitoring and removal strategies
  • and marine engineering.

All of this while diving and enjoying the stunning underwater landscapes and life of the Canary Islands,
