How to earn money online (200-300 euros per month opportunities for digital nomads)

Earn a small amount of money by doing small tasks/operations online

Earn money online while abroad โ€“ There are various ways to legally earn 200โ€“300 euros on the web. If you want to do it in a very simple way, you can try with online surveys, but only if you find the right website.ย In recent times, we have tried various websites for online surveys, both to earn some extra money or win other products.

The premise is that most of the online survey websites are cumbersome and to earn even 10 euros in Amazon vouchers it can take a lifetime and a lot of wasted time.

Most of these services send out surveys but when you go to fill them out they give you various questions, then throw you out if you don’t have certain requirements, without even crediting you for your time. This inconvenience and the fact that they send surveys randomly (even if your profile is filled with all the necessary data) is only and exclusively a waste of time! Other surveys reward you ridiculous amounts, like 10 cents for 25โ€“30 minutes of work. As remote workers and digital nomads, we have tried many of them, and they are * ALMOST * all like this. Some of them areย  total scams. But some of them are valid.

Up to now, the best we’ve tried so far is YouGov

Earn with YouGov

YouGov never sends surveys that you cannot take part in and never throw you out after a few questions. All the surveys (ALL) you fill in, accredit you from 25 to 50 points depending on the length (which ranges from 3 to 15 minutes maximum), they are always very simple and not very demanding surveys, it is possible to choose whether to exclude questions of politics, religion and “hot” topics and to each question it is always possible to answer “I don’t know” or “I don’t want to answer”. you can choose from own account the frequency of sending the surveys (I have chosen the faster one but it is not invasive and you can always decide to delete the warning email). The surveys can also be compiled from the website on the phone, without any problem.

When you accumulate 3000 points you can convert them into a 25 euro amazon voucher and when you reach 5000 points you can convert into a 50 euro amazon voucher.

The points grow fast enough and the small earnings come quickly.ย In our opinion, YouGov is the best panel of surveys ever. A little effort allows you to get credits (in Amazon vouchers) from 50 to 300 euros a month quite easily.

With the coupons that we earn, we buy many little things, both on amazon and, with the new amazon payment system also on various sites.

Earn with Quora

Quora is a social network. If you manage to become Quora’s Partner you can make a good amount of money just by asking questions.

Questions such as:

Asking questions, however, is not enough. The questions have to be:

  • well written and curious
  • relevant for the community
  • they need to be answered by somebody. Yes, you can answer your own questions.

If you are good at writing and you manage to get a lot of views and followers, you can make even more than just 100-200 per euros. According to Quora, an average question is worthed about 1 dollar/euro (it takes less than 1 minute to ask a question), but some partners are earning more than 2000 dollars/euros per month (in our opinion, they must be really good at writing). This is what we -normal people-, have earned so far after 3 months of experiments:

quora, partner, digital nomads, digital jobs, computer work, laptop work, earn online, earn money while travelling, work remotely, earning opportunities online

Quora is also looking for professional figures. If you’re an IT expert you could try your luck and work remotely for them!

Updates on Quora – 2020

Quora recently changed its partnership programs. It is however not clear how this will affect the earnings of the partners, though they explicitly say, that earning, basically will be more difficult. Here is the message from Quora English community manager:

Thank you for being one of our top Partners. Given your participation and success in the program, I wanted to reach out to you with an early heads up about a change weโ€™re making. We are going to be making a significant change to how payment works, in order to try and incentivize better quality questions. Weโ€™ve found that sometimes we overcompensate for questions that are not beneficial to the system, and that hurt trust with other writers. In the short term, you may experience a cut to payment โ€” questions that previously earned a lot may not, and in general it will take all questions a much longer time to earn.

We know this may be painful at first, but We sincerely hope that this is going to help the program in the long run by only rewarding good questions. Going forward, you should focus on adding questions that are high-quality, questions that people have in the real world, and questions that people consistently and repeatedly seek answers to.

Again, thanks for all of your dedication and participation so far. I wanted to make sure I reached out to you specifically to let you know about this change ahead of time, and give you time to adjust.

  1. No way guys.

I tried both YouGov and Quora.
MAYBE, and I say it again, MAYBE in the past it was easy to earn money from YouGov and Quora but now… it’s really just a big exploitation on the part of this giant networks owners…

Yougov: In two years I barely managed to receive enough surveys to get 2500 points. The minimum amount of points to get the minimum reward is 3000 points (equal 25 euros). 2 years and I am still waiting to get enough points to get the minimum reward of 25 euros to spend on Amazon or put on Paypal… It’s such a joke!

Quora… I managed to ask questions and obtained answers that were able to gather hundred thousands of views and I only got a couple of euros for each one of these multi-followed and viewed questions… Years ago I could make about 100 euros per month with Quora, now, if I work the same amount of hours I only get 20 euros-30 euros per month. All the articles, answered and questions I produced (and with me all the other Quorans) are making Quora owners richer and richer, while we spend our time writing for Quora jus for small coins, as if we were their writing slaves… What a shame. I wish people would not be so attached to money so that these corporations could not thrive and prosper on our poor shoulders.

My advice? Look for some better online jobs opportunities!

    Cheers and good luck everybody.
