Paradise city ‘n’ roses – Bungalows. A call for one voluntourist!
Volunteer in Zanzibar – We are two Slovaks who run 15 bungalows on Nungwi Beach in Zanzibar. Our names are Sasha and Milan, we are very good friends long time and we used to live in Prague (we are running the hostel in there but now it is closed). We have experiences with many volunteers and internship students. In November we moved to Zanzibar because of Covid thing and we just love it here.
Our bungalows are a peaceful place with local staff. We are looking for somebody who will join our team and help us at reception. We prefer somebody with experiences from hostels, hotels and similar.
The staff – We have 5 local members of our team:
- 2 cleaning ladies Salma and City
- 3 men: Machano (at the reception), Hafid and Juma (in the kitchen-preparing breakfast and doing laundry) and you will be the 6th one 🙂
You will be living with us in our huge house (you can choose a private room or shared one just with one person).

Volunteers’ benefits:
Life on the beach, very peaceful place on beautiful Nungwi beach with great nightlife.
You will be in the touch with our guests and local staff, you can practice many languages, learn Swahili and learn a lot about local life, Also you can learn more about customer service and how to manage bungalows. You will help with the reservation system and help us with email communication.
You will be staying with us in our villa, but you will get a lot of privacy. We will show you the local life and you can meet our local friends.
