The centre is surrounded by nature, and there is plenty to do on your day off
The Tara Buddhist Centre in Etwall (Derbyshire, England) is looking for skilled people (or willing to learn!) to work in the following roles:
- Building work, e.g. painting, plastering, installation, carpentry
- Grounds work, e.g. tree cutting, gardening
- Kitchen work
- Cafe work
5 days, 5 hours a day
(minimum 2 weeks)
- Cosy dorm accommodation,
- 3 vegan/vegetarian meals a day,
- access to regular meditation sessions.
The centre is surrounded by nature, and there is plenty to do on your day off, e.g. walks, runs, Peak District, exploring nearby cities, e.g. Derby, Nottingham, chilling in the lounge reading a book.
Living in a Buddhist community gives you the opportunity to get to know more about the culture, learn how to improve your mind and health, and get to know people you may never usually meet!
