The project is based in Roma settlements in two Hungarian towns, Bag and Dány, where we organize after-school activities for local children and youngsters. Bagázs is a public benefit association in Hungary that has been working since 2011 to contribute to an inclusive and accepting society in which Roma people have a chance to achieve their goals. This can only be achieved if we jointly set up changes in the community of the settlements and in the majority society. Our association seeks to make Roma people more capable, while at the same time sensitizing and making them more accepting of the people belonging to the majority society.Bagázs, ESC, program, european solidarity corps, volunteer, youth, erasmus +, Hungary, 2022

The primary aim of our programs is the deliberate development and empowerment of the local community through our presence in the settlements. Based on a holistic approach to our professional work we support entire families with separate programs for children and for adults.
