We are looking for young volunteers (21-30 years old) for our long-term ESC project.
Bagázs ESC program 2022 – If you are proactive, good with children and open to different cultures and people from disadvantaged backgrounds, you might be our perfect candidate.
The project is based in Roma settlements in two Hungarian towns, Bag and Dány, where we organize after-school activities for local children and youngsters. Volunteers will actively participate in the life of local communities, hold English-speaking group activities together with our experienced volunteers and join the most awaited summer camps.

What’s the mission of your community? 🎯
Bagázs is a public benefit association in Hungary that has been working since 2011 to contribute to an inclusive and accepting society in which Roma people have a chance to achieve their goals. This can only be achieved if we jointly set up changes in the community of the settlements and in the majority society. Our association seeks to make Roma people more capable, while at the same time sensitizing and making them more accepting of the people belonging to the majority society.
The primary aim of our programs is the deliberate development and empowerment of the local community through our presence in the settlements. Based on a holistic approach to our professional work we support entire families with separate programs for children and for adults.
Most of our programs are organized by volunteers, so they are directly involved in professional work.
