Farm exchange in Denmark – We are a couple living at a minor farmstead on an island in Denmark (Mรธn /Moen). On a daily basis, we work away from home, but in our spare time and holidays, we love to work at the farm and explore the island. Mรธn island is Dark Sky certificated and is surrounded by beaches, cliffs, forests and walking trails. A true nature experience awaits you. The farm is somewhat located isolated and the nearest town is 4 miles away. Our lovely small farm/homestead is a typically danish house in the countryside. We have two accommodation houses and two barns.
We seek voluntourers who want to share an experience living “somewhat isolated” at a farm. For the season of 2020, we have two major projects: building a wooden shelter and putting up a fence for an outdoor pigpen. Plus some minor restoration projects

Our farm is maintained by our own hands and with the help of volunteers. Our aim is to provide a good experience for volunteers in exchange for a little help.

When would you need volunteers?
Around Easter and in the summertime is optimal.
How many hours of help per day?
4-5 hours of help per day
How many days of help per week?
5 days per week – 2 days off

Yes, we offer food and accommodation

We prepare most of our own food and take special needs into consideration (vegetarian/allergies etc)
Fees transparency
No fees, just helping out on the farm
VISA – could you provide Visa support/info/invitation letters?
No! we cannot help with Visa/invitation letters – similar requests will be ignored.
Volunteers’ benefits:
Choosing this place will give you a peaceful experience in close relation to nature. People who come and visit the island tend to go into slow mode and relax. Using nature and its surroundings will benefit your stay.

How to get to your site
By aeroplane to the capital of Denmark (Copenhagen). From there take the train to the town of Vordingborg (1 hour away). We will pick you up at the train station.
