Hostel exchange in Greece – Our hostel is the ideal place to stay when you want to combine the sea & the mountains. Its serene location is the perfect getaway, whether you want to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area, or indulge in adventure activities. We are located 1 hour south from Thessaloniki, in the Litochoro area, (Pieria County). The hostel lies on the Aegean sea and is only 6km. from Litochoro and the trails of mythical Mt.Olympus which most of our travellers wish to visit. We aim to provide an informal, friendly, family setup and we hope to cater to all our guests’ needs during their trip.

Hostel exchange Greece: note about the volunteer work and other expectations

Through Voluntouring, we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, mature and skilled volunteer (1 or 2 people) to assist with the hostel’s daily duties such as rooms preparation, gardening, cleaning, customer service help, in return of a very friendly and hospitable experience. Volunteers with handy skills/maintenance will be preferred. Please contact us for further details (See CONTACT DETAILS below).

What type of accommodation can you provide?
  • Dormitory/shared rooms
Diet – nutrition information

We have both veggie and non-veggie meals depending on the day. During the low season, the volunteer might also be provided with supplies and asked to prepare his/her own meals.

Two meals (breakfast & dinner) are provided including coffees/teas. Alcoholic drinks are charged with a volunteer discount.

VISA – could you provide Visa support/info/invitation letters?

No, we cannot help with Visaย

How to get to your site
  • By Train from Athens (via Larissa) or Thessaloniki OSE station. The local train station is Litochoro. Very regular daily trains. Trip Duration 1 hr.
  • By KTEL Bus from Thessaloniki Makedonia station, almost hourly buses every day. Trip Duration 1:15min.
