Empowering underprivileged children and communities in Kenya
Bethesda Development Organization โ we are dedicated to giving children who can’t afford private education a chance to learn. We ensure that these children, including many who have lived on the streets, are not left behind. They are welcomed into our school program, where we provide them with learning materials, nutritious food, clothes, and sometimes even a place to stay.
Our organization is recognized as a non-profit NGO that strives to make life better for the communities we serve. Our mission includes reducing poverty, improving access to clean water and sanitation, and promoting quality education. We also focus on enhancing food security and reducing the effects of HIV/AIDS.
Part of our work involves drilling boreholes to supply clean water, purchasing learning materials, and teaching community members skills to help them earn money. We also supply tools like jembes for farming, provide educational materials to children, distribute free seedlings and fertilizer for better crops, offer counselling and support for those affected by AIDS, and work to lower the stigma attached to HIV/AIDS.
