I want to participate in the turning point of humanity by preparing the world of tomorrow according to the principles of permaculture on the farm that has chosen me to renovate it, to wake it up from the long years of abandonment and to make it an oasis of happiness, fertility, abundance, sharing, and love of the living.

Note about the volunteer work and other expectations 📝

You need to have your own health and accident insurance and be in good health and physical condition as farm life is very sporty. if you are a lymphatic person of the type “who has trouble emerging in the morning and who is tired all day…” this will not be the right place or a good hideout for you because this land requires motivated people with the love of work for her, for the trees, for the plants 🙂

• Learn how to conserve fruits and vegetables for the winter period
• Good bodily practice in physical labour
• Shamanic ritual and practice, yoga courses
• From July to the end of September, it’s a period of picking fruits, and collecting vegetables, and we will teach you how to prepare them for conservation, how to make dehydration, jam, vegetables in olive oil, and lactofermentation. We teach you our methods and you will leave with some specimens of our preparations
• In November until the beginning of December, it is the time to pick organic olives to make olive oil, the collection is done in an artisanal way in a good mood and with efficiency. You will leave with your bottle of exceptional quality olive oil.

What to do in your free time 🚴🚣🦒

The farm is located 4 km from a small traditional tourist town with a castle and a historic centre, it is known for the quality of its waters (spa) and is about thirty km from the Spanish border. The largest artificial lake in Europe Alqueva is a dozen km away. There are beautiful hikes to do on foot or by bike in a landscape with valleys, it is also possible to practise swimming, sailing, and windsurfing. We have 2 bikes available. There are lovely walks and bike rides from the property.
