Starting in September 2024, the job is a chance for someone who loves animals to make a difference. The role is with the Cyprus Wildlife Research Institute and includes writing scientific articles to help learn more about wildlife.

The job involves leading a team of volunteers, planning their weekly tasks, and taking care of the daily needs of the animals in the hospital. This includes treating sick animals, welcoming new ones, and keeping the place clean. The team leader will also need to talk regularly with the project coordinator to keep them updated on how things are going.


The centre is offering a place to stay and food for free for between six months to a year. This is a great opportunity for someone to work closely with animals and help protect them!

How to apply?

To apply, you need to be good at speaking English and have studied veterinary science. It’s also good if you have worked with wildlife before, but it’s not necessary. You will need a valid driver’s license and to be up to date with your vaccinations.
