Volunteering programs in ‘Spirituality’ areas
Are you looking for volunteering opportunities to explore areas of Spirituality?
The opportunities featured in this page are related to
- religious and other spiritual topics.
If you want to learn more about it or if you want to live in a spiritual community, feel free to browse/explore the programs listed on this page.
How to use this page.
Click on the announcement you are interested in. Check the date of the publication (some opportunities might be already expired). If the announcement is still valid, look for the ‘contact details‘ section. There you can find free ways to get in touch with the hosts (website, e-mail, phone numbers, application form). Send the host/organization a message and wait for a reply.
Some of these opportunities are completely free (you receive free food and accommodation in exchange for voluntary work – wwoof style). Others require a daily/monthly contribution fee for the food. Remember that many areas in the world are still developing and volunteering can’t be a ‘free’ thing.
If you want to have an “impact” but you only have a few weeks to do volunteering abroad, then we recommend you to choose the paid opportunities: you will contribute not only with your skills but also with your money. This is usually better than just paying for a “western hotel” or touristic villages owned by foreign companies.
Our website, Voluntouring, is not a touristic agency and is not taking any agency intermediation fees from the organizations listed below. All of your money will go directly to support the NGOs or the locals. This is also why you will find that the fees for the volunteering experiences, when requested, are much lower than the ones offered in other professional agencies.
Some hosts/organizations around the world might require travel insurance: this is what we repute to be a good insurance solution.
