International Youth Volunteering with Curba de Cultură –  Not sure what to do in the next year? Come to Discover Teisani 👀 , a super-picturesque village 🌈 in the hills of Romania. Volunteer for 12 months, all expenses paid by the EU 🍭, to investigate and promote the rural lifestyle and the people of Teisani 🥁

Activity description

The aim of the Discover Teișani project is to create promotional materials and a promotional campaign for the commune in order to support the locals and further projects focused on the uniqueness of the local daily life. The main activity of the project will be a 12 months of mobility for 4 EU volunteers which will create the materials for promoting the community being at the same time in a safe and secure environment for personal development and for acquiring skills in order to boost their employability on the labour market.

Food and Accommodation, and other benefits
  • reimbursement of travel costs up to 275 euros at the end of the stay
  • accommodation in a traditional house together with the rest of the volunteers
  • food allowance and pocket money – local transport bus permits and car when needed for activities

  • mentor support – language training – coordination, materials for activities and equipment – task-related training such as team building, health and security, event management, basic youth work and group dynamics, communication etc.
Participant profile -International Youth Volunteering
  • aged 18-30 – motivation for international volunteering
  • strong motivation to work and live in a rural area
  • availability and motivation for a one-year mobility
  • strong interest in learning a different European language
  • motivation in developing new competencies and learning about community development
  • having basic English communication skills, spoken and written.
  • motivation to do research in the community and to create video and text promotional materials out of it.
