Wisdom junior school was founded to relieve poverty by educating and proving health care, food, shelter and psycho-social support to neglected children and orphans so that they achieve their full potentials. We focus on the neediest and most vulnerable children in our community.ย Many have lost one or both parents to poverty or disease. We help these children break away from the everyday cycle of poverty and hopelessness.
What is wisdom junior school
Wisdom junior school is an institution in Uganda interested in improving and providing education, feeding, clothes and medication to children from tremendous poor families and children neglected of their right to education in Uganda.
What is wisdom junior school currently doing for the kids?
We support 130 kids in our community.ย All of these are orphans and vulnerable children.ย We handle an average of 130 children all-together.ย Child neglect occurs in all sections of our society, but the risk factors are greater in orphaned families, parents having economic challenges, have difficulty controlling anger, alcohol or drugs abused, have no education or were abused or neglected as children. We ask you to work with us, to achieve our goals and give hope to our kids.

We expect to have a clean record of the volunteers while at our school and fully attend to the neediest kids

Fees transparency
Our volunteer programs are free.
However, a volunteer can consider making a donation on the running projects as he or she sees the need.

No, we cannot help with Visa but we can offer assistance

What to do in the free time
Volunteers may decide to take a tour at beautiful tourist centres in Uganda. Note they will need to meet all the tourism costs.

We are located in the central parts of Uganda in a remote and poor area. The weather is hot and wet throughout the year. No winters.
