Live a simple lifestyle in a Yoga and permaculture community in Spain

Yoga and Permaculture Community in Spain โ€“ Hello, I am a 29-year-old boy who is living something like a long retreat NGO project – Permaculture and yoga are the essence of the community I am trying to develop here. With no WIFI and out of the grid you can get rid of your flaws and fears. Nevertheless, there is mobile coverage and shops are 5min by car.

A little information about me and the place

My name is Rafa and the place is located in Cullera. Exactly among the mountain and a pound which belongs to the Albufera Natural Park. The cottage was bought by my grandfather in 1954 approx. 4730m2 of land. The part of the house for a living has been rebuilt but the part for animals is in progress. There is no electricity but there is tap water (running water) and a water well for agriculture. I do study yoga so I practice yoga and meditation every day for a few hours. You can reach the beach in 20 minutes by walk.

    2. Dear Pascal, regrettably, the host has currently concealed their contact information as they are not seeking volunteers at this time. We sincerely hope you find another rewarding volunteer opportunity. Best wishes.

  3. Hello, I’m a scout leader in Belgium. I lead a group of 18 young people aged between 16 and 18. This year’s aim is to go on a “volunteer” trip for 1weeks in July between 5 july and 20july.
Last year we went in Lauraโ€™s farm to Austria. We had a wonderful experience with her. We helped her set up her farm by carrying out various tasks (pulling weeds, moving logs, moving large piles of earth, building a fence, helping to insulate the roof and helping her neighbors with their vegetable garden). We shared some great moments with them while working, but also around the fire, singing in the evening. We slept in tents and bought our own food.
This year we’d like to repeat the experience!
Our aim is to have another experience in which we’ll be in contact with nature and with another culture, but also where we’ll be able to meet each other, tell each other about our different journeys and share few moments together. We’re looking for a simple experience and, above all, to be able to help you with your project. For example, we’d love to learn about meditation and yoga, or about your culture, specialities and the beautiful corners of Spain. We want to share and live simply.
Scouting has given us many qualities and experiences. We’re resourceful and sociable. We have skills in construction (Piloti, table, fence with poles and ropes), in gardening thanks to the job we do all year round and last year’s trip, and of course in children’s animation. We can help you plant small trees, maintain a vegetable garden, maintain the green space around the property (cutting branches, removing weeds, mowing the lawn…) or build certain wooden structures.
The group of young people I lead is highly motivated. We are 4 leaders, 2 of whom have a driving license. If you have a project in that can accommodate 20 people that would be great. We can sleep in tent and eat our own eat, that is not a problem for us.
Please come back to me if you have any further questions. Happy holidays to you and your family. Nina Materne

  4. Hello,

i am interested in volunteering in your place, if you need someone for organising and education skills. But i can not do make a lot of physical work because of my back. i mean carry heavy things and so on.
if it is ok, write me, i would be glad to hear from you ๐Ÿ™‚

    Best regards
    Vera
