Volunteer in Peru – We are a group of volunteers who are planning some social projects in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Right now we focus on an education Center in Huandar, which is a district in Pisac. Our goal is to make space to offer workshops to women and children, who live in difficult conditions, without education and undernourished, domestic issues, etc…

We want to educate and empower them on many topics ranging from hygiene and housekeeping to things like hydroponics and organic production or even English lessons.

Volunteer in Peru – recruiting

So the idea is to recruit volunteers who want to share every kind of skill in workshops and to empower the people in the community. We give volunteers a place to share their passion with others and to learn from each other.

They will have the opportunity to get to know Pisac and Cusco because they are flexible in time and just need to hold and prepare their workshops.

Requisites

We ask for a maximum of five days a week.

Volunteer Accommodation

We offer a dorm room in the centre with a kitchen and a bathroom.

Cultural Exchange

Also, it is possible to stay at a family’s house and to learn about their culture and lifestyle.

Transportation

It’s possible to get a public bus from Cusco to Pisac and from there a moto taxi to Huandar which is just 2 km from Pisac.

Free Time

In their free time, they can go hiking, climbing, visiting museums and ruins, exploring the sacred valley and visiting many events in Pisac and Cusco. We are working on a Facebook page and website we will finish them, hopefully, in the next weeks.
