Updated: January 2020 – Volunteer on world’s most active archaeological site – No Experience required
- 💪Training, equipment and food provided
The Bosnian Pyramid project is the most active and controversial archaeological site in the world.
The 2020 excavation season will mark the 15th year anniversary of when Dr. Sam first made his announcement of his incredible pyramid discovery in 2005.
Since that time thousands of volunteers from around the world have come to donate their time, energy and efforts in uncovering our shared ancient hidden history. This archaeological project is the only one of its kind that allows both professional and non-professionals alike to contribute to the archaeological, scientific and spiritual researches taking place within the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids. Volunteering begins in June 2020 and continues through the summer until late October.
Time and Date
Volunteers can come and work for a day, a week, a month or even an entire summer.
Exchange – free transparency
Volunteering is free of charge and though accommodation is not provided, food on working days is. Private accommodation can be found online or locally and is very reasonable no matter the budget you have.
This is an incredible opportunity for anyone interested in archaeology, history, science, metaphysics, spirituality and earth mysteries.
A truly international project (summer 2019)
The volunteer project is now in its tenth year and has attracted archaeologists, anthropologists, geologists, physicists, engineers, medical doctors, spiritualists, philosophers, filmmakers, journalists, chefs, lawyers, teachers, gardeners, technologists, computer programmers, historians, musicians, mathematicians and etc. of all ages, from all around the world.
Excavations will be conducted under the supervision of trained professionals with the help of an international team of volunteers. Volunteers are required to be physically fit, open-minded, adventurous and enthusiastic for the work. On-site training will be provided.
Physical work entails but is not exclusive to
- Excavating, sifting for artefacts,
- ground clearance,
- cleaning archaeological trenches,
- creation and repair of pathways & steps.
We are also interested in attracting photographers, videographers, journalists and bloggers to document and help promote the work being conducted by the volunteers.
Excavations in Visoko begin on June 2nd and continue through the summer until the end of October.
Lunch is provided on workdays
Volunteers are responsible for their own accommodation.
We recommend the local monastery if on a budget.
